  1. Waltz of the Oversoul

From the recording Waltz of the Oversoul

Share

from the cd "Postcard,"released in 1993. recorded with my then brand new friend, mili bermejo, on vocals. i grew up in the acoustic guitar world of contemporary folk. it always makes sense for me to play that way, even in a jazz context. to me, it is fusion, in the true sense of the word. this is the song that made me more aware of that crossover potential, and the many different traditions of music from cultures around the world that there are to explore. it all filters through eventually. mili understood exactly what i wanted; more importantly, what the song needed. and ken laroche and i had a blast playing with percussion toys all over it.
